Combe is close to the Oxfordshire Way and has many paths leading out of the village on really lovely walks. You can go down to the Evenlode river or cross fields to the Roman Villa at North Leigh. Park by the Combe Gate, and you can walk into the Blenheim Estate. The Combe Mill gets up steam every few weeks -
Green Close is a (mostly) stone built Grade 2 listed house set in about an acre of garden within the Conservation Area of the lovely village of Combe. The original part of the house is late mediaeval.
You can park just outside the house or around the back where we keep our cars. If you need to have your car under cover, that can be arranged.
Wifi is available for all to use.
If you are coming by train or plane, we will try to be around to pick you up from Hanborough station or Combe Halt.
Within 75 yards of the house you will find the Cock Inn where meals are served lunchtime and evenings Tuesday to Sunday (Sunday lunchtime only).
There are many other well established pubs and restaurants in the area. Click here for some suggestions for Places to Eat.

For breakfast you can expect eggs from our hens (when laying), with home made bread, marmalade and fruit compotes, and honey supplied from the village.
We offer full English (usually eggs, bacon, sausages, tomatoes, mushrooms, and beans or any combination) with a variety of cereals, toast, tea, coffee, and fruit juice.
We don’t do evening meals.
